Overview

Connection sharing lets you give other teams access to your data connections without duplicating the data. Use granular access grants to control who can use which connections.

How Sharing Works

1

Open Share Settings

Navigate to a connection’s detail page and click Share.
2

Add Access Grants

Choose who to share with:
  • Specific users — Grant access to individual team members
  • Teams — Share with entire teamspaces
3

Set Permission Level

Configure what recipients can do:
  • View — Can see documents and use in chat
  • Manage — Can also upload, delete, and configure

Access Requests

Users who find a connection they don’t have access to can request access. Admins receive the request and can approve or deny it.

Permission Mapping

For enterprise setups, you can map external source permissions to your organization’s access structure. This ensures that document-level permissions from the source system (e.g., SharePoint permissions) are respected in Singularity AI.
