Creation Wizard

Creating a brain is a four-step process:
1

Name & Purpose

Define the brain’s identity:
  • Name — A descriptive name (minimum 3 characters)
  • Description — What this brain focuses on (minimum 10 characters)
  • Icon — Choose from 12 available icons
  • Color — Pick a color theme from 8 options
2

Connect Sources

Select which data sources feed the brain:
  • Teamspaces — Learn from conversations and documents
  • AI Boxes — Learn from automated processing results
  • Data Connections — Learn from synced external data
Toggle individual sources on/off. At least one source is required.
3

Configure Governance

Set the rules for how knowledge is validated:
  • Validation Mode — Automatic, Manual, or Hybrid
  • Training Mode — Scheduled, Continuous, or Manual
  • Auto-Approve Threshold — Confidence level for automatic approval (50-100%)
  • Required Approvers — Optionally require multiple approvers for high-stakes knowledge
4

Review & Create

Review your configuration summary. After creation, the brain enters an initial training phase where it begins extracting knowledge from your connected sources.

After Creation

Once created, the brain:
  1. Starts with pending_validation status
  2. Begins its initial training scan across connected sources
  3. Populates the knowledge feed as items are extracted
  4. Routes items through your governance pipeline
